The basic items you should bring are on this list. What you bring is not restricted to this! Be sure to read up on UNB Res Life's residence contract to make sure you aren't breaking any rules with things you bring. Here are some things you should and shouldn't bring that you might otherwise not know. Make sure you talk to your roommate about who is bringing what. You don't need two fridges!
Ethernet Cord - There is FibreOp wifi in every room in the house, but it isn't always reliable.
Quarters for the washing machine (The treasurer will have quarters for you to buy as well)!
Fused power bars
Formal clothing for our House dinners and formals!
Shower flip-flops. (Many people do go without, the showers are quite clean.)
Mini fridge (Talk to your roommate or other friends in the house, share!)
Basic tool-kit. Hammer, screw drivers, etc.
NOT To Bring
Milk crates (Fire Hazard)
Extension cords (Fire Hazard)
Anything with an open flame, such as candles (Fire Hazard)
Loft or bunk beds (Supposedly you can rent bunk beds from UNB)
Air Conditioners or heaters (The rooms are surprisingly temperate most of the time, personally I found it almost too warm during winter)
Appliances with exposed elements, such as toasters, hot plates, toaster ovens (Fire Hazard). Hotplates with embedded elements are ok.
